Job Summary: The Resource Operations Manager will be focused on managing all internal business operations within EvolveNXT to provide efficiency and organization for the business. This role will require taking leadership in implementing various business needs from recruitment to allocating resources and making sure both internal and external projects are being delivered to the agreed scope on time. The candidate will need to be able to keep the team accountable and liaise between cross-functional teams as well as offer additional support to leadership. Candidate should feel a tremendous sense of accountability and responsibility to deliver results on time and hold resources accountable to timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily with internal teams and assign tasks to available resources 
  • Manage and create client change requests and monthly service hour invoices 
  • Responsible for managing and directing the internal service team 
  • Overseeing daily internal operations and projects 
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment process: hiring, screening and placement of new employees 
  • Manage and oversee quality or security assessment of processes, procedures and performance 
  • Lead orientations and provide check-in support for new employees as needed 
  • Conduct yearly performance evaluations 
  • Coordinate and maintain quarterly roadmap leadership meetings
     

1-Year Markers of Success:

  • Ensure that all resources are adequately trained on the organization's security protocols and procedures
  • Become a reliable person of contact for internal network
  • Oversee the use of internal tracking systems and ensure they are updated by project teams
  • Manage and implement strategies to optimize resource and time spent on tasks
     

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Management, Project Management, Human resources or a related field
  • Work Experience: 3 years of prior work experience in managing teams and people resources
    • Independence, bias towards actions, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
    • Detail-orientation with strong analytical skills
    • Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
