Junior Full-Stack Developer

Job Summary: The Junior Full-Stack Developer will be focused on understanding EvolveNXT's software infrastructure and actively building front-end and back-end components, as our product continues to evolve. Developers will be responsible for writing code and maintaining the clean documentation associated with it. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement new features for highly scalable web applications using SQL Server
• Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation
• Collaborate closely with the QA team to conduct thorough code reviews and ensure robustness of deliverables
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines without compromising on quality
• Adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Debug and troubleshoot code issues to maintain application integrity and performance

1-Year Markers of Success: 

• Full understanding of the EvolveNXT software infrastructure
• Ownership of a specific product
• Bonus points: driving the development of a new product

Ideal Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science 
• Work Experience: 1 – 3 years of prior work experience 
• Technical Skills: 
  • Experience with building and maintaining scalable web applications using SQL Server
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance
  • Preferred skills / languages: HTML, SQL, Jquery, Javascript, CSS, React
• Soft Skills: 
  • Independence, bias towards action, ownership-mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment with limited guidances
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Bonus Points: Experience in the enterprise software industry
