Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality by testing, analyzing, and recommending improvements to our software products. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining a comprehensive software testing plan to ensure the quality of EvolveNXT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and define quality standards based on customer requirements
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies
- Test and inspect products against defined standards
- Identify, track, and document any product defects or issues
- Work with production teams to implement quality control measures
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate statistical techniques
- Participate in review processes and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all test results are recorded for future reference
- Provide feedback and recommendations to team members
1-Year Markers of Success:
- Deep understanding of product features and functionality
- Ability to identify potential issues early on and ensure quality throughout the process
- Low defect rate in production
- Expert management of test execution and issue resolution
- Ability to train internal and external stakeholders on how to identify potential issues
Ideal Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a related field
- Work Experience: 3 years of prior work experience in quality testing
- Independence, bias towards actions, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Detail-orientation with strong analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
